Interiors: An Enchanting Hideaway in the Heart of Istanbul

Welcome to Hazz.

Meaning "enchantment" in Ottoman Turkish, Hazz is the absolutely exquisite Istanbul home of Asli Tunca and Carl Vercauteren. There's so much to love about this palatial beauty. Marble, oak, and Byzantine-era stone set the stage for antiques, custom pieces, and modern portraiture. Seven thousand square feet of eclectic luxury hidden in the heart of Istanbul. And the best part: you can stay here! Hazz recently opened as a B&B for weary-but-in-the-know travellers. It's a definite addition to my "must-stay" list.

I simply love the library suite. Most of the furniture, woodwork, paneling and details were designed by Tunca and Vercauteren.
