Interiors: Venice's Gritti Palace Hotel

I recently stumbled upon images of the Gritti Palace Hotel in Venice, Italy. Oh, how glamorous! The pics below are of the Peggy Guggenheim suite, named after the legendary socialite and art collector (hence, the art-laden sitting room). The space oozes decadence from the Murano glass chandelier to the Oriental Rugs and marble bath. A favorite of Ernest Hemingway, this Gritti Palace is a definite to-do for a lavish bucket list.

Nestled next to Venice's Grand Canal, the Gritti Palace has been called home by both noble families and Vatican ambassadors since construction in 1525. Needless to say, its architecture and views of the city are nothing short of breathtaking.
