Glam it up: AERIN by Aerin Lauder

Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of Estée, will combine her love of beauty and home under the luxury lifestyle brand AERIN, which launches this summer. Although I have yet to sneak a peek at the home décor collection, to debut the following spring, I'm certain Aerin's interior design style will translate into something spectacular. After her dressing room was published in Elle Decor, it quickly became one of the most popular spaces in the design blogosphere. So bright and glamorous - it's every girl's dream (at least, it's this girl's dream).

You can see this penchant for glamour throughout her many homes as well as the new company headquarters below. Will the trend continue as she develops AERIN's line of decorative accessories? Fingers crossed.

A bedside vignette may best capture the AERIN brand - glamour, pretty little things, a luxurious design POV and a framed letter from her grandmother.

Regarding her latest venture, she notes, “AERIN is saturated with the qualities that have surrounded me my entire life, many of which came from my grandmother, Estée: passion, style, hard work, family, and, of course, all things beautiful.” The Lauder legacy continues.

Desiré Greene
Desiré is a designer, blogger, and lover of all things glamorous. Though primarily a self-taught decorator, Desiré studied at The Art Institute, where she honed a distinct aesthetic largely influenced by the Modern Glamour movement, the theme of her popular design blog, Sukio. Not only is she considered a "closet fashionista," discreetly stashing handbags and shoes whenever possible, but, as an MIT graduate, she’s also an undercover nerd. Fashion, nerdom, and several years as a Washingtonian have combined to shape her unique perspective on interior design.
